When I moved into this complex, it was very nice - the clientele, management, amenities, spacious floorplans, were all excellent. Now, it's a different story. I've lived here for a little over 3 years - after the first year, the gates have never worked...around the same time, a man broke into my apartment when i was asleep one afternoon and I awoke to find him in my kitchen (he took off thankfully, but was never caught). I now live in an upper level unit, but in the past 2 years, there has been a constant increase in crime - many, many apartment and car break ins, countless pit bulls (some leashed, some not), children destroying the pool so that it is rarely open, the patios and balconies are falling off, the entire building structure is rotting and huge chunks of wood are always falling off (causing large holes which now house possums and rats). people work on their cars in the parking lots (with blaring music and bass, day in and day out) and leave car parts, including entire engines, laying around the area. it's too bad - the management and maintenance staff are helpful and friendly, but they're fighting a losing battle with wood rot, crime, and low class clients....needless to say, i live elsewhere now.
