A bargain at first, disappointing later?

Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2002
I got a 1-bedroom apartment. What attracted me initially was the good price (I got $100/month off my rent) and the proximity to work. Also, the staff is courteous.
Major Disappointments:
1) No front gates, not option to pay extra for a covered garage => my $8,200 brand new motorcycle got stolen right in front of my house at night!
2) Even though rent has declined dramatically in the Marietta area over the past year, I was informed that my rent would increase by $50/month after I renew my lease.
3) Extending my lease by a month increased my rent $240/month!!!
4) The person who referred me to this apartment complex was promised $500.00. He received NOTHING. The name a gave them initially was misspelled. After I gave them the corrected name ? they said it was too late? that I had already moved in. This was a total rip-off.
5) I woke up to a cockroach crawling on my leg at night more than once!
Despite all this ? I would rent from them again; however, I would be A LOT more careful next time.
