Nice Apartment, Sketchy Staff, Rickety Balcony

I'm coming up on around two months of living in my current apartment, and while I enjoy most of the experience, there are a few serious issues with the place. The biggest mark against them is their response time to maintenace requests. I've found that if it's something I could fix myself, like replacing faulty blinds, it gets done fairly quickly. However, the balcony railing on my porch has rotted through, leaving it unstable. In two months of requests, I've only been told that they are in the process of finding a contractor. I guess this is what they'll tell the first person to fall of my balcony as well. Other than that, and my downstairs neighbor's stereo, I don't have much to complain about. Just don't let them tell you the thatre is always open. It's only open during office hours.
