If you are in the market for an apartment community that is poorly kept and maintained, an area in which walking out to your car at night poses a threat to you, a community of what seems to be parentless children who will harass and disrespect you and every aspect of your stay, or just an overall noisy place 24/7, then the BridgeMill Orphanage is the place for you! While the apartments are spacious, the buildings are poorly maintained and many seem to have heating and air units that give constant problems, and the overall appearance of the buildings are simply embarassing. The "ammenities" are poor. A fitness center in which everything but the fan was broken, and a terribly unappealing pool are a huge letdown. The property has sharply dropped to the slums of Henry county. The children here are a TERRIBLE problem...I would guess the reason being none of them have parents! It seems that these children, from young to teen, loiter about all day without any supervision or shoes, and pretty much do what they wish. Some will curse and blare music while flicking their cigarette butts onto your doorstep, many will crowd the drive and your parking spot with their skateboards and bikes- and then have the nerve to give you the finger when you're simply trying to make your way to work or unload your groceries. The Teen Pregnancy folks would have a hay day here trying to pry all of the touchy feely teen couples off of each other. The vandalism of the property, a trend started by the orphans long ago, has become increasingly worse, and the car break ins are still at their peak. Please take heed and take your rent check elsewhere.Especially to those who have young and impressionable children, move along! I have seen some sweet kids move in, and the next thing you know they are holy terrors who will curse you in a heartbeat!It has been rumored that a registered sex offender was a tenant, but who knows if he's still there. Some may try to change your mind with the promise of better things to come with the new management, but Rome wasn't built in a day. It will require more than just a few months of new faces to even begin to get BM to sub-standard living. Remember...you get what you pay for. Spend a little extra to live in a better community...your safety is priceless. Let's put it this way...I wouldn't recommend living here to my worst enemy, nor could I be paid enough to ever go back there again!!
