Major issues with Bridge Mill

A correction on the courtesy cop..... he moved into another building, he didn't leave the complex as stated in other reviews on this site. BUT, I will say that even though there had been a police officer living in the complex for the time I lived there (2002-2007), it certainly made no difference. I agree with most of the reviews on this website... this apartment complex has many issues that need to be addressed. The children are out of control, constant loitering (from children and adults) and mischief. The pool is in need of repair, no supervision of minors anywhere on the property. Kids have destroyed most of the lounge chairs at the pool, the tile on the inside of the pool has come off in several places, the equipment in the gym is basically non-functional and management has yet to replace them, but they continue to raise the rent. The new management company started painting the railing and doors on the apartments almost immediately after the take over, which in my opinion was an unecessary change. The other issues mentioned above should have been addressed first. This is what my rent was paying for? They should have taken an assessement of the repair work on the property and started with the items that needed actual repairs, instead of starting with asthetics.
When the new management team arrived, I was told that major changes were going to take place, bad apples would be delt with and the complex would become a better place to live. The loitering had increased since their arrival, which tells me that they are filling up apartments, and not interested in what kind of individuals they have allowed into them. When driving through the complex at the end of a long day at work, the vibe I felt everyday is that I was living in a section-8 property. I would get an immediate uncomfortable, unsafe feeling...... everyday.
I would not recommend this complex to anyone I know.
