I'm thankful I found this site before making a big mistake but, to be honest, considering my experiences just viewing the apartment I doubt I would have rented regardless.

I drive by the complex all the time when visiting friends and family in the McDonough area. I decided to drop by and see what their specials were since there are always "free rent" signs around the complex. When I walked into the office the first thing that got my attention was the smell. Even with the A/C blowing full blast the place stank.

The second thing that got my attention was the rudeness of the property manager, Barbie. She was sitting at her desk watching a talk show and completely ignored me when I walked in so that she could finish watching television. I wasn't acknowledged until the time came for a commercial.

When I asked her about the specials she blatantly avoided answering my questions. I mentioned to her that a friend of mine lived at the complex years ago (when they were under different management) she asked me why I needed to see the apartments again if I'd already been there. I was so shocked by this unprofessional comment that I couldn't even answer.

At that point her show came back on so she told me I would have to schedule an appointment because she couldn't show me the apartment. By then she was watching television over my head. Obviously I didn't schedule an appointment and haven't been back but when looking for reviews on another apartment complex I found this site and thought I would share my experience.

If that woman was so rude and unprofessional to a person who she hadn't even gotten to sign a contract I can't imagine what she would be like to a person who is already legally stuck with her. In addition to her behavior the complex itself is a mess. There is trash everywhere, people hanging out by stairs and cars just staring at visitors. Once I got a good look around I barely felt safe and I couldn't even guess how things must be there at night.

I know what that apartment complex offers a lot of good deals but it seems as though it is a case of you get what you pay for.
