I want to begin this review by stating that there are some positive features in this community to make a transition tolerable. Tolerable is about the best I can say. First, if you are looking for value and square footage, then you may be happy to know that these floor plans will deliver. The alarm systems seem to work well and fire alarms are well placed inside and outside of each unit. This is a gated community but the gates do not offer any level of confidence in security as they are in a fail safe position most of the time. (open) Do not expect any of the amenities to be working and/or available and you will never be disappointed. Management is operated in a sub juvenile fashion. Keep involvement with management on an emergency only basis. Unfortunate for me, I walked in on the property manager and a leasing agent discussing inappropriate information about a resident. It was disappointing for me on two points; 1)the lack of professionalism and deformation of the resident's character; 2)the irresponsible language that was spoken in an open and very public area of the leasing office. As stated in other reviews the maintenance team operates on a very unprofessional level. Vulgar language and lack of industry standard in maintenance is evident and obvious to laymen. About the only standard that the maintenance team upholds is the conformity of the uniforms. In conclusion, if you plan to move here, plan ahead as to where your next step will be after your lease term has expired. I am currently putting together evidence and a full report for delivery to the owner(s) of the property. This community has vast potential if the right experienced, consumer oriented and professional property management group could be established. Until then, for my dollar, I'll be taking my business else where.
On a second note, if you are a current resident and are having an uncomfortable experience with the property manager, I encourage you to speak up as the property owners would appreciate the positive or negative feedback. Remember that the property manager is just that, property manager. Property managers such as the current one tend to over step their authority and lose grasp of their true responsibility.

I completely agree. Melissa (property Mgr) is very unprofessional and inappropriate at most times. If you go to her even in your most positive manner her unprofessional and improper behavior will outshine any expectations of decency. I am eagerly awaiting my lease expiration, for I fully plan to write a detailed letter of the experience with management as well as the ramshackle maintenance crew.I am quietly waiting for the right time and I will inform Signature manangement of what is going on here. To all who plan to lease or are currently leasing write or call Signautre Mgt dont be bullied by mgt, Melissa's time here is short.

I do so agree with you guys Melissa is a very nasty rude and unprofessional new manager. She is very rude at all times no matter how nice you are to her. ANy maintenance issue tends to be a big headache for them and myself. Both Melissa and that lazy unskilled Layman aka Lazyman are always making up exuses as to why my apartment contine to have maintenace issues. I am so tired of them trying to blame me and my family for their apt. problems. My lease is up at the end of the month and i am already clicking my heels. I have spoken to signature management and whether or not they know it they are being closely watched. And i am in the process of submitting a very in debt letter to the property owners in regards to thier unprofessionalism.

I would also like to comment on the inappropriate conversation in the leasing office. I am a former tenant of Carrington Green, and I was shocked to know that the management staff was talking about my private problems and matters to my coworkers who also lived in the complex. There should be some type of confidentiality at this place. My maintenance problems should not have been be discussed with others period. That is wrong and inprofessional.
