Simply they ripped us off our deposit. Out of $300 we only got back $34. We left the apartment clean and and good condition. They forgot or didn't consider the $100. refundable part of our $500. pet deposit. They charged us $100. for odor control for a strong odor. My cat is litter trained and fixed. I lived in apartment before Oxford for 2 years and got back 90% of my deposit. Had the same cat.They didn't claim any odor. I only lived in Oxford for a year. My friend came over before we moved so I asked her about any odor. She said she would have told me if there was an odor. She said it smelled like an apartment. The $34 took a month and a half to get to us and they didn't do a real walk-through with us before we left. We plan on fighting this but it will be hard since we moved out of state. Just consider your refundable deposit here non-refundable.
