These people don't know what they're talking about

Where to begin' I don't understand why this s***hole is rated as #1. Yes, the property is nice--the apartments are shoddy and, as one review stated, made to look expensive but are actually cheap. For instance, the molding is cracked in some places (most likely due to settling), underneath the countertops is not finished, the tops of the cabinets are not finished, and there are NO overhead light fixtures! Different staff members tell you different things in regards to questions. They are generally SNOBBY and have a condescending attitude upon your entrance to the office. We had one incident with our dishwasher that took a few weeks to be resolved. The pet deposit is way too high ($500-- ALL non-refundable)! I had to find a temporary home for my dog because I think $500 is way too much for a 4 lb. dog that won't do any damage to their "priceless" apartments. We were also told that they would be doing "random pet inspections" at the end of July and now, at the end of September, no one has come to "inspect" our apartment. I believe this is just a way for them to make more money off of you. It also shows inconsistency in their words and their actions. As said in an earlier review, the walls are paper-thin! I can hear my upstairs neighbors stomping around and my downstairs neighbor's baby crying all the time. One night (well, 3:00AM) we were awakened by the GBI busting down our neighbor's door because they were selling crystal meth. And yes, what IS the point of having a gated community if the gate constantly breaks' There is also not a fence all the way around the property. The foot traffic is unbelievable--people need to pick up their kids at the gate instead of letting them roam the apartment complex. Parking is a nightmare. People who have big diesel trucks like to take up two spots and people with trucks and trailers take up four! The tenants here are also very rude. Going in the exit gate because they are too lazy to push in a stinkin' code! And not sharing the road! There are two lanes in America, people! The "hot tub" isn't a hot tub--it's a kiddie pool (with very high urine content, I'm sure). The apartment complex is situated right next to a nasty trailer park where people jump the fence to swim in the pool. And yes, there are a lot of Henry County police officers living here. And they will stare you down in passing as if you are doing something wrong! They will ask you senseless questions about "what you are doing" when you are walking a dog or carrying a bunch of stuff. There are also a lot of bugs in our apartment, especially in the kitchen. They seemingly appear out of nowhere. They WILL raise your rent if ever you decide to renew your lease. We have a concession, but not for long. We could be living in a house for what we pay here! If you ever have a package to be delivered to your apartment, good luck with that! We were expecting a large package and it seemed to take forever to get here. Turns out it was at the office of Preston Creek! They taped a little note on our door asking if "we forgot something." They never called us or anything! And the note also said they would be sending the package back if not claimed in 24 hours-- what if we had been out of town or something' If you need your car washed, just wait for the sprinkler system to come on-- they don't really spray the grass so much as everywhere! The street lights go on and off, thus it is very dark in some areas. Our bedroom is right next to the outside stairs in the breezeway so we get to hear kids stomping up and down the steps a lot. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you're a drug dealer or a soon-to-be-Section 8 tenant. That's where this place is headed. x-2PE3sjUIIeetAHoKOk

I am sorry that you have had a "bad experience " at Preston Creek. I live here and it has been a good experience. When your lease is up you should move. But I looked into the instances that you are referencing with the Police Department and they could not find where they have had a "Meth" lab here at Preston Creek. You should check your facts before you lie on a nice community such as this.

I agree with the other rsponse- You should move- You are probably one of the Prestigous Wrestlers from the Deep South hole in the wall in McDonough. Maybe you both are mad because neither of you are good enough to make it to the big time. My family loves it here and You do not tell the truth and should be ashamed of yourselves. Instead of telling lies maybe you should use your energy into looking for a different place to live because I for one do not want you as a neighbor. Maybe you should grow up and take some responsibility for yourself in regards to packages and such- That sounds like a fed ex or ups problem and not the office babysitting you and your package... if i was in charge I would send all your stuff back!!! I love the staff, maybe the problem is you...

Again someone who does not value living in such a nice place. The staff are wonderful, and the community itself is great. Sounds like someone who needs to move..
