We asked for a building where there were few children around during the day, as we work from home. The young guy who serves as our leasing agent promised that we'd be in a quiet location, but not so. We were placed in a building where everyone has children, and atleast two of the families have children who are very, very destructive.

Aside from that, the leasing agent guy said the pool would be available 24x7x365, subject only to weather. Not so.

We were also told that the gym was monitored closely and could be used only by adults. At this time, the gym is closed indefinitely due to vandalism and other damage due to it's not being monitored.

We also asked about renting a storage space, and about some minor maintenance issues, and our leasing agent boy totally ignored our request.

The building is nice, and the location is great. But the service is awful, and the leasing staff, particularly the men, seem to be comfortable with blatant lying.

I would like to take a moment to respond to a few of the concerns that are mentioned here. I am sorry for any misunderstanding on our part. This should make a few things clear to the concerned ???-Anonymous-??? resident who posted this. First of all we are not allowed to place residents in certain areas of the community based on race, gender, background, or family status. Doing so is called ???steering??? and it is against the law! At the time you moved into the community the amount of noise and families living in your building, wasn???t the same as it is now. There have since been FOUR new families who have moved into that building. We as a staff have worked hard sending out notices and making phone calls to those parents whose children are being ???destructive???. We would like to limit the noise so that all residents in the building can enjoy comfortable and peaceful living. Secondly the pool: The hot tub stay???s open year round. Not 24 hours or 24-7-365, but it is open year round and only closed for repairs and cleaning. The actual pool itself is controlled by the county as far as when we can open it. There is a pool season in which pools can be open and that is decided by the county help inspector. Once they come out and check everything and give us the permit to open it, then it can and will be available to swim in. This is the case for all apartment communities in the county. Third: The gym is close do to repairs/upgrades that are being made at this time. The rules are that no one under that age of 16 is to be in the gym or pool with out an adult. We do monitor the gym ourselves during business hours (9-6 Monday-Friday). After hours it is check on by our courtesy officers. Does this mean that things are guarantied not to happen? No it dose not. The gym is monitored and we are in the process of installing a camera in their as well. Fourth: If anyone asks about leasing out a garage we must first have maintenance let us know if we have any available as close as possible to the requesting resident. After that???s done maintenance makes sure that the garage is in perfect working order with the proper remotes. Once everything is in order then the garage is issued. Any maintenance issues that haven???t been corrected we would be happy to fix. Please call the office or stop in. The only reason a work order would not be completed would be due to waiting for parts, pets in the apartment that aren???t put away, or children at home alone. They would not be purposely ???totally ignored???. I hope this helps to clear up the above mentioned issues. We would never want to be thought of as ???blatant lying??? to any of our residents whom we value and are very important to us!

This must be the response from the boy in the office... yes you do tell the residents if a perticular building is quite or not, I have heard you say so myself. The guy in the office is a kiss ass and will tell you anything just to get a lease so that he can get his money. Do not lease here or if you do DO NOT lease from him.
