When we moved in things were fine. A month later we started having problems with roaches. They were everywhere. We constantly had battles with loud music and nothing ever seemed to get done. Mgt will tell u what u want to hear and take their time getting things done. We had mold growing in our apt from a water leak and all maintenance did was take out and replace a small portion of the wall and then repaint over the whole wall. We constantly were calling the PD due to various activities that mgt refused to handle (loud music, loitering, unauthorized individuals conducting various activities on backside of apt). Because a neighbor was a bad parent, DFCS was constantly knocking on my door asking questions. Kids repeatedly playing in breezeway when they aren't from my floor, the fire alarm was always going off with no fire. We were told no aggressive dogs were allowed on the property and yet we constantly saw tenants with rocks and pitts on ground level on second level buildings with no leash or restraints. The community really has turned into a ghetto. There was repeated harassaments from solicitors. Neighbors would leave trash on balconies and porches attracting vermin and pests. The pool was almost shut the whole summer and when it was open it was over run with unsupervised children and teenagers.
When we moved out, the mgt refused to accompany us on the walk through then charged us with bogus charges and to this day still owes us money that even they know about and will not send it.

Has it been over 30 days? It is GA law for tenants to receive there deposit within 30 days if there is no damage. If you have not received your money, you can get two times the amount in your refundable deposit due to you.
