This apartment complex is completely infested with ants. The management company and owner refuse to invest in a decent pest control company so as a result the apartments are INFESTED with ants. I have a couple of friends who live here and all of us have so many ants! The apartment complex also does nt have a gate and in clayton county you wouldn't want to live anywhere without a gate. The ant infestation is disgusting and very uncomfortable!! RUN AWAY FROM HERE!!

I have lived in Windsor Landing for 2.5 years and have found it to be quite nice. Ample parking, 'FREE' key to the work-out room/on-site laundry (you pay $5 for a replacement if YOU lose it - not their fault but no locksmith charge as happens when you lose the only key to your car ... if you have problems keeping up with keys then have a dup made), if kids outside are loud call the office or on-site 'courtesy officer' aka resident police officer and it will be handled, the 2 maintenance issues I reported were accomplished within a few hours and burned-out lights are replaced when maintenance is aware of the need. Roberta/maintenance guy is very kind, respectful and quick to assist. He also lives on-site. I recently renewed my lease so my entire time here will be 3 years. I am thankful I selected this apartment complex. Actually the reason I opted to live here was the person working the office when I first stopped by. The apartments are spacious, especially for the rent fees. I looked at all apartment communities on the same street and the agent working the desk at Windsor Landing was very helpful and gracious. She remains an employee and I know when I speak with her all details will be handled appropriately. Her name is Shelia Davenport, a true asset to the complex. I do not regret my decision to move here. In regard to the ants: yes, this area is known for ants. I own a nearby house that is going through a reno, I will move there when I leave here. Ants are an issue throughout the area. The complex treats them often during the warm months and again when advised of additional need. I simply have a few ant traps by the windows and doors, problem solved. (If you do not have a problem with talc sprinkle some on the carpet, it quickly kills the ants without poison. I have it in my auto.) At least the ants are not as bad as the huge roaches so evident at the complex next door ??? that in addition to the ants, of course.

This lengthy response is obviously from an employee from Windsor Landing. Who's gonna take the time to write such a long response. Trust me the ant problem here is VERY BAD. Just go around and ask the residents and they will tell you the same thing. STAY AWAY
