NANCY GAVE US A LETTER SAYING THAT SHE WAS NOT GOING TO RENEW OUR LEASE. SO WE LOOKED FOR SOMEWHERE ELSE TO LIVE.
OUR LEASE WAS UP THE END OF FEB. SO THE MIDDLE OF FEB. WE FOUND SOME PLACE NEW AND STARTED MOVING.

NANCY FOUND OUT AND **TERMINATED** OUR LEASE EARLY. WE WERE NOT OUT YET. WE STILL WERE IN THE PROCESS OF MOVING, AND STILL HAD OUR THINGS IN THERE.
SHE CHANGED THE LOCKS ON US BEFORE OUR LEASE WAS UP AND IS CHARGING US CLEAN UP FEES, (IN EXCESS OF $500) AND WON'T APPLY OUR DEPOSIT TO THESE FEES EITHER.
SHE IS CHARGING US FOR A NEW STOVE ($250) THE ONE THAT WAS IN THERE WAS FROM THE 1980'S, AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED ANYWAY!

IT SAID IN OUR LEASE THAT SHE WOULD CHANGE THE GAS AMOUNT EACH FEBRUARY AND SHE UPPED IT IN JANUARY INSTEAD, AND GAS IS NOW $100 A MONTH!!! (FOR A 2 BEDROOM)
SHE SAID WE FORFIETED THE APARTMENT BECAUSE WE TOOK ANOTHER APARTMENT, BUT IT DOESN'T SAY IN THE LEASE WE CAN'T START MOVING BEFORE THE LEASE IS UP.
SHE TOTALLY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF US AND NOW WANTS $1500 EXTRA, AND WON'T APPLY OUR $615 DEPOSIT TO IT.

I THINK SHE IS KEEPING THE DEPOSIT FOR HERSELF AND TRYING TO GET MONEY FROM US ANY WAY SHE CAN.

SHE IS CHARGING US BECAUSE WE DIDN'T CLEAN THE APARTMENT, BUT WE DIDN'T GET A CHANCE BECAUSE SHE LOCKED US OUT. OUR LEASE WAS NOT OVER YET.
SHE IS SCAMMING EVERYONE.

BUYER BEWARE.

SHE IS MEAN AND VINDICTIVE.
SHE WANTED US TO GET A CO-SIGNER TO RESIGN AFTER SHE TOLD US WE WEREN'T ALLOWED TO LIVE THERE ANYMORE AND SHE GOT MAD WHEN WE DIDN'T AND FOUND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO LIVE.
THE APARTMENTS AREN'T NICE AT ALL. TINY, DINGY, NASTY.

WE DIDN'T TELL HER WHERE WE WERE MOVING TO SO SHE CALLED EVERY APARTMENT COMPLEX IN NEWNAN UNTIL SHE FOUND US, THEN SHE TRASH-TALKED US TO OUR NEW LANDLORD. OUR NEW LANDLOR DIDN'T WANT A REFERENCE FROM HER, AND SHE GOT MAD AND TOLD HIM ALL THESE LIES ABOUT US.

BE VERY VERY CAREFUL IF YOU MOVE HERE. PLEASE TRY TO FIND SOMEWHERE BETTER AND NICER AND A BETTER PLACE FOR YOUR FAMILY.
I WOULD HATE FOR YOUR FAMILY TO HAVE TO GO THROUGH WHAT WE ARE GOING THROUGH RIGHT NOW.

I have also noticed moisture and possible mold in my apartment. I was actually looking for the office number to call in a maintenence request when I ran across this bulletin..... my bathroom sink appears to be leaking and everything, paperwise, I keep under it gets soaked. My oven pilot lights wont stay lit because the stove is old and the utility closet in my hallway can only be described as hazardous. However with all these issues, you do have to consider the age of the complex. In a newer complex you shouldn't have to experience these problems, but you'll also be paying more rent to ensure it. From what I understand, they are beginning to remodel units so those of you who find less problematic units appealing, you will have more of a selection to choose from. I have personally never had any problems with the staff or maintenence personnel- William always took time to pet the cat before he left. I've never been afraid for my safety, despite stories I've heard in regards to the neighborhood in the past. There is always plenty of parking, and the neighbors are friendly, the only thing, in my opinion, needing improvement is the quality of mail service. My lease will be up this summer and I can only hope I do not run into what some of you have when it comes to having bad experiences. Overall, I have been pleased with where I live.
