I understand that the property is almost thirty years old, but that being said...it would appear that there have been few if any changes to the apartments in the thirty years of its existence. The floors are uneven and sag away from the walls, making it feel like you are walking through a "fun house" from room to room. The cabinets and fixtures are dated and crusty, and the bathroom counter tops and bath tubs are twelve coats thick with paint, and nearly impossible to clean. The walkways are lined with cigarette butts and dog poop from the residents not cleaning up after themselves and property management does nothing about it. In the last year since the management change, the quality of resident seems to have changed for the worse, and the parking lots are sights for hanging out late into the night with loud noise and the occasional gun shot heard. If you only care about your rental rate, you might still consider this property, but if you are looking for a nice living experience, I suggest you look elsewhere. And just count on losing your security deposit no matter how clean you leave the apartment when you move out. These apartments only return about 30% of the deposits taken, and give you a hassle about it from the get-go.
