Columbia woods is an affordable JOKE!!!
With ample parking due to the fact that NO ONE lives here, paper walls so you can hear the maintenance man have an all night party next door every weekend. All the Street lights do not come on at night and management is not in a rush to get them fixed.
Units ARE NOT energy efficient!!! One day of AC or Heat can run you $10 - $15 A DAY!!! you do the math. I have complained about this on a number of occasions.
I have been waiting MONTHS (literally months) of a number of repair to my unit. I have gone to the office and called the office and talked with management to have these issues resolved on numerous occasions. I live directly next door to the maintenance man and have gotten nothing done. I have created a log on the maintenance mans work habits. And I can honestly say he leaves home and starts work every day at 8:32am and returns home for a 3 hour break at 10 and a bunch of periodical breaks after that. He is; in no way too busy to come and do repairs to overhead lights.
So please do not expect repairs to get done.
The maintenance man is a reflection of the bad management staff. They have gone through 3 Managers in the last year and none of their paperwork is in order.
One things good I can say about Columbia Wood Homes is; on the first of the month they DO want their money, and by the 10th of the month they will take you to court for it.
I have never had to worry about this particular issue; however I have see how ruthless they are with late residents.
I would not recommend Columbia Wood to my worst enemy and I hope you think twice before you move here.
If you would like a good quality place to live. Look into the Preserve on Griesom Trail which has just be built right next door. The homes are beautiful the amenities are much better and i like the management staff.
I will be moving at the end of the month.

I lived at Columbia Wood for over 2 years and you are the joke. The grass was mowed once a week and never at 6:00. What would you rather them do? Let the place go? You must have got kicked out.LOL:):):)

I dont believe that this is a joke! i am another tenant having issues with getting things fixed at my unit. The outer appearance of columbia woods is incredible, but have you ever been electrocuted just simply from turning your lights on? and then been told you were exaggerating when you told the office about it? and no one ever enswers the phone when you call the office, htey are open 9-5, its amazing how they are always showing people around....i hate this place. cant wait til my lease is up.
