Read me before you move here....

Living at Foxworth Forest wasn't as bad as some of the apts. I've read about on this site! My husband and I lived there for a little over a year and never had a real problem with the management. She was always very nice and friendly. And while she couldn't solve every problem we had (mainly with the neighbors), she did attempt to. Her husband is the security guard there and did a real good job keeping people who didn't live there out of the parking lots. He's close with some of Newnan PD so response time is very quick.
Our main problem with the property was the neighbors and their company. The majority of the people living in Foxworth Forest are young. (not teenagers, but they're late 20's very early 30's). Most nights loud music and yelling could be heard through the almost paper thin walls and windows. Fights weren't a rare occurrance at all.
We had neighbors who would just walk in your door if you left it unlocked for any amount of time, with absolutly no regard for how you might feel about it. Parking was usually okay, with the execption of weekends. ON weekends, there isn't a spot to be found anywhere near your apt. People park on the curbs here at times. My car has been scratched, food was stuck to it and many times children ran their bikes into it. That's another thing, if you don't like millions of screaming, unsupervised brats running around, DON'T MOVE HERE. It seems that everyone has a tleast 2 kids! They're very loud and damage property. The mgt. does try to keep them supervised, but parents rarely abide by these regulations.
The parking lots usually were filled with trash and other nasty food items. A resident cleaned the grounds often, but it never seemed to stop the accumulation of cigarette butts and melted food on the concrete. Again, this is a direct result of the people living there at the time. The mgt. had crews out atleast once a week, maintaining the grounds, cutting grass/shrubs/etc. All animals had to use the bathroom in the woods behind the apts. so there was no issue with animal wastes being around (except for the occasional pile someone neglected to clean up). All animals had to be on leashes as well, so that was never an issue of safety.
The apartment itself was adequate. Sometimes the air conditioner would freeze up and we'd sit in a 90 degree home, but I think that was more my fault than the mgt's! (I like it cold!) All of our appliances worked. The fridge leaked water from the freezer to the fridge part, but it wasn't enough to cause any major problems.
The bathrooms and bedrooms were very roomy and as advertised. Lots of room in these apts. Some slight chipping of sheetrock around windows, but no other damage when we moved in.
The only problem we had with the apt. was the front door. The lock became increasingly harder to use. Our keys would get stuck in it and it was hard to get them to turn at all. We resorted to entering through the sliding glass door in the back instead. Only problem with that is the neighbors did too!
Overall, I would say that Foxworth Forest is a pretty good place to live, if you don't want to pay all that money for some of the other apts. we have in Newnan. The managment is great and the apts themselves were pleasant to live in. If you decide to live here, meet your neighbors first!! Ask the mgt. questions about the people who live around you (they'll be honest!)
If asked, would I live here again...I would probably say yes. (i'd just make sure I lived near the manager since I know they don't put the "bad" neighbors on their end of the property! :)
