I think it was a nice place to live

I lived at Lakeside for 2 years until I bought a house and had no problems other than the NORMAL apartment living type. When you read over these reviews it makes you wonder what people are expecting when moving into an apartment and not a house. Granted, the older section could use a little work on the outside, but since the new management staff has been there (almost 1 year) things have started to improve. The landscaping is beautiful and you can't beat the lake, the fishing, and the fantastic gym. In other apartments that I lived, the residents were lucky to have one treadmill, and one bike, not six and free weights too. I have seen the curtosey officers out at night passing out notices and patroling the area, but there is going to be some sort of trouble when you have over 400 units in a complex. People just need to realize that if they want quiet, small areas, than either buy a house or rent somewhere with 100 units instead...
By the way, the people that usually are negative have some other motive behind it. Example: rent always late, got evicted, had compaints called on them, etc. Something to think about!!!!
