The management is terrible. If you break your lease you have to pay thousands, they make you have the aparment move in ready when you leave, they change the lock on your mailbox before your lease is up, they make you pay a CAM (common area maintenance) fee in addition to your rent, the gates never work, the windows have stoppers on them so you can only onpen them about 4 inches (you would die if there were a fire because you couldn't get out), there are no directional signs and non visible numbers on the buildings (no one, even the police/fire can find you), everyone in Newnan knows the code to get in the front gate, everyone in Newnan uses the pools and gyms, they changed the locks on my door without notice, kids of all ages roam freely throughout the complex at all hours, cars are broken into, no rules are enforced, the management is VERY rude. BEWARE!!!!!!!

This comment just annoys me....so I have to respond. Do you think you can break a lease and not have to pay termination fees? The termination fees at Lakeside is no different than any other property in the area. The lease clearly states what you will pay if you terminate your lease. If you was not okay with it, then why did you sign the damn thing? And what makes you think that anyone who works at the property wants to clean up your nastiness after you move out? All PROPERTIES make you clean up your place when you move out. The CAM fee is your water, sewage, and garbage. Do your research!! This fee is never over $30.00 and that is very fair considering the water prices these days. My windows never had STOPPERS on them, so what is up with your windows? Did you ever call the office and ask for the stoppers to be removed? Maybe the resident before you put them on the windows for some reason. Yes the gates break down every once in a while, but they are repaired that same day. The reason they break down is because stupid people try to tailgate other people in, and they hit the gate doing so. I bet this same problem ALSO happens everywhere that there is a gate. I find it hard to believe that the county police and Fire Department could not find your apartment. Lakeside has been here a long time and I'm sure they are familiar with the layout of the property. I happen to know for a fact that the gate code was just changed recently, and they change them every so often. You also need a key to get into the pool and the fitness center. There are pool monitors at the pool during the day and night to make sure that what your saying does not happen. I could go on and on.......but I will not waste no more time on this. What I think is you broke your lease and your angry at your TERMINATION fees and you want to get back at the property. Just pay your money!!!!
