No apartment complex is going to be perfect, and I understand that certain residents may have run into to some bad situations hence some of these reviews, but I have lived at Lakeside for almost 3 years, and I have enjoyed it. The only 2 things negative I can say about the complex is that the gates have been constantly broken (however over the last 2 or 3 months they have stayed pretty much in working order..knock wood), and I live in a ground floor apartment, and I can hear every footstep from the tenant above me. Yes, it is annoying because sometimes it sounds like he's dropping cement blocks on the floor every 5 minutes, but I've learned to live with it. That's just apartment life. The staff has been very courteous. Every time I have put in a service request it has been answered promptly. I even had an emergency on a Sunday (water heater started leaking) and somebody came out and fixed it within 30 minutes! The neighbors all around my apartment have been very nice and they even keep an eye out for any suspicious activity.
Of course you are never going to be able to get permanently away from any loud music blaring through the parking lot, but it is very minimal in the complex where I live.
Overall, I have had a good experience at Lakeside and have enjoyed it. Others may have feel differently, which is fine...we can't all agree on everything.
