My husband and I moved here about a year ago and are moving out since we are buying a residence nearby. We currently rent a 2br/2ba in the older part of the complex. When we first moved here we had a problem with a gas leak behind our stove. We mentioned it when the leasing agent came by the first day and he sent a maintenance person out to take a look at it. The maintenance guy said there weren't any problems, but yet the awful smell persisted. After calling the front office again and complaining they sent a different maintenance guy out which solved the problem almost immediately. Like any business, you have some people willing to do their job and others that don't... We've had issues with our dryer, but that's to be expected since it looks like it came straight out of 70's. Other appliance problems have happened, but the maintenance staff has usually be top notch. We haven't had any problems with neighbors. We do have people speeding through the parking lot like it's a race course and I've called the front office, but to no avail. The only reason I even called was because there are kids that live around here and I'd hate to see something bad happen to one of them. The gates hardly ever work. It seems the only one that works is the one letting people out of the complex - which is proposterous. There are unusually large groups of teenagers (maybe older) boys walking about the complex at night, but we've never had any problems with them. The dog feces that litter the grounds is ridiculous since people refuse to pick up after their animals. All in all, we really haven't had any life altering experiences here.
