Please don't put yourself through what I have been through. Lakeside has the potential of being a very nice apartment complex, but the poor management ruins the experience for anyone and everyone! It is amazing that tenants are responsible for the tiniest details in their leases, but management can do as they please, charge as they please, change their (so called) minds as they please ... and never be held responsible. Sweet deal, huh' You will never see ANY of your deposits again, so kiss them goodbye. You will live with ants, no matter what you do or how often you report it, so be prepared. You will have to deal with juvenile delinquent kids who roam the property as they please, destroying things, driving too fast, harassing other children ... you name it. And despite having, I believe, 2 or 3 security (courtesy) officers on site, nothing is ever done about it. The "security" gates area always broken, so people come and go as they please on the property. Doesn't part of our rent cover those security gates' So where is our break for management's failure to keep the gates in proper working order'''' And God forbid one of the incompetents in the office make any sort of mistake in the things they tell you or the paperwork they complete because inevidentily it is the TENANT'S fault, not theirs! And inevidently, the tenant will pay for it. The tenant standard for this community has sunk lower and lower, just so management can keep their occupany level up ... and conveniently enough, we tenants who appear to be able to afford higher rents are forced to pay them, while our next door neighbor is paying much less for the same apartment. But management looks good, remember that! If you live in Lakeside now, don't take their crap anymore. The management is incompetent and incapable of properly handling the business. If you are thinking about living in Lakeside ... run away, quickly, before you are sucked in by false promises and pretty models! There are much better, nicer places to live in Newnan ... including cardboard boxes! I know I am counting the days until I can leave!
