I moved here because I needed an apartment on short notice. A 1 bed/1 bath was available, but I was not permitted to see it before leasing. I took the management on their word and signed the lease. My deposit was waived on account of "good credit," and I was given a slight monthly discount because of my employer. When I moved in, my apartment was not truly on ground level despite what I had been told. The building sits on a hill and must be entered via steps, effectively making my aprtment on the second of three floors. I had specifically requested ground level so that moving furniture would be easier.

Pros:
-Short drive to most places in town
-Traffic light allows easy access to highway at entrance
-Members of management have been friendly
-Tennis court is well maintained
-Courtesy use of fax and copier in office

Cons:
-Very short notice on people planning to enter apartment (pest control, property managers, maintenance, etc.)
-One eye on stove didn't work. Took 2 months to be repaired. Reason: Management said they forgot about the work order.
-Newnan Utilities cable is only form of broadband internet access available
-Business center computer is old and slow
-PO Box is difficult to open and mail carrier is very shoddy. Often have documents rolled up and packages jammed tightly in box rather than placing in office. Mail has taken up to two months to be delivered (got 2 bank statements in a week once)
-Gates are more often broken than repaired
-Management only allows local numbers to activate visitor gate callbox. (bye bye cell phones)
-Neighborhood children are very bratty. They frequently yell insults at people and run out in front of cars.
-The community has become increasingly "ghetto" or "white trash" over the past year. Often see shirtless strangers jumping fence to visit friends inside the complex.
-I hear my neighbor's booming bass about 4 hours per day.
-Apartment door has springs that make it slam closed. The lock doesnt line up with the wall correctly and is a nuissance.
-Have to open doors and windows to cook because of incredibly sensitive smoke detector
