My husband and I have been here since the fall of 2001 and cannot wait to move!!!
The management who lives on the property could care less once the office is closed to help out tenants with their problems. If the office is closed "it is your issue to deal with" as stated by management.
To give the most recent example at a Newnan Loft funtion management was seen drinking heavily with tenants and was made aware at a very late hour of a locked out tenant that could not get any response from a lock smith in the Newnan area. Leaving this tenant with no option and no help to get back into their apartment. Management later returned to an apartment directly across the hall of the locked out tenant still refusing to help. Two other tenants broke into the door after the weekend staff, drunk and bilegerant also refused to help.
Management has stated that "tenants are responsible for themselves" and "management will take care of management!" Obviously tenants are taking care of eachother and of course management is taking care of its own.
As far as the grounds are concerned there is a large amount of dog fecis all over the place. This is not everyone who owns a dog, there are some who do take responsibility and pick up after themselves. There is trash everywhere. Food is thrown from the windows of apartments and can be found all over the ground in the parking lots.
Management has obviously lowered the standards for qualifying their new tenants. Six people on one lease is found not to be uncommon, and when evicted is not suprising to find the same tenants now only a building away in a smaller apartment with the same amount of people residing there.
Overall, the noise from the trains is annoying but you can get used to it. The ghetto across the street is a little unsetteling especially when they are always coming to the pool and running around the property. The dogs from across the street who are allowed to fight are also constantly roaming around here and have gotten into several fights with dogs who unfortunately are not on leashes. You can hear everything from your neighbors and the utility bills are outrageous.
