STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!

Guess I can?t say I was surprised to see as many ?negative? comments as I did.

Considering the fact that I once lived at Newnan Lofts and, of course, it was only after I was settled in that all the problems began to surface.

Indeed, there isn?t any insulation between the drywall and, in effect, the owners statement for that was, well if we had done that, we wouldn?t have been able to construct as many lofts.

And that, in laymans terms, means less money in their pockets.

Additionally, the roof leaks were incredible and while the management--at the time I lived there--did all they could do to remedy the situation, the last "voice" in the decision-making process was the owners and, again, they didn?t want to spend the money.

The owners--The Novare Group--are basically money-hungry little men in their pinstriped suits who don?t give a rat?s a** about any of their residents at Newnan Lofts.

Trust me on this one.

I wouldn?t steer you in the wrong direction.

I fell in love with Newnan Lofts and all that I envision they "could" be.

The problem was ...

they weren?t anything like the brochure depicts.

There isn't a 'lake view' ...

it's a stagnated pond that I wouldn't send my worst enemy to.

More importantly, no one should be able to hear their neighbors using the restroom, running the dishwasher, an egg cracking open, a cats meow, and--let?s not leave this one out--the lovemaking process.

There was a time when Newnan Lofts had promise, had a decent management team--they actually cared about the residents--but, unfortunately, the Owners weren't happy with their performance.

That's interesting in itself since they were in the 90% occupancy range.

Be that as it may, to hear that the latest management team likes to tip their mugs doesn't surprise me in the least.

And ...

I'll be very surprised if Newnan Lofts still exists in another year or so.

Oh and you're right about the ghetto right across the street and, of course, when looking into renting there the manager at the time told me there was nothing to worry about.

In fact, it was explained that the entire "neighborhood" would be bought out and a nice group of "small" homes would be constructed there.

Talk about a crock of ___.

I'm curious, did any of your management teams tell you that there were 'state of art' insulation in the baseboards to make each loft completely sound proof' I am laughing my A** off.
