When I forst saw the Newnan Lofts I thought what a great place! The apartments are like somethig out of a movie! So I was sold hook Line ( should be lie) and sinker ( make that sucker)!

Lets break this down by categories...
(1) Bugs! Every place had bugs. However the endless parade of centerpede's and spiders makes a person very uneasy. The last straw was bugs in the closet. You can spray and spray but they literally crawl out of the cracks in the woodwork!

(2) Noise! The complex is literally built next to a active freight train track. The train runs past teh building every couple of hours. It makes a great alarm clock is you want to be woken up by the 11pm, 1am, 2:30am, 4:10am or 6am trains. They blow their horns right as they go past teh complex. So if you live on the train side, forget sleep. I wont even go into the rumble and the shaking of the building by some trains!

If you live on the side facing away from teh train track, there is no relief. The building is in such close proximity that no matter where you are, the horn blowing is almost deafening.

Plus if you live on the parkign lot side of a night you have the sounds of the "ghetto dwellers" who live on the other side of the property. Music and "party" noise echo's through the parking lot bouncing off the building.

(3) Interior noise. The walls are literally paper thin. You can hear the people next to you literally doing anything. Then if you have as I did, someone who likes ot play an accoustic guitar at 11pm, or 2am, or who likes to have large groups of friends over after midnight to laugh it up and have a good ol' time, you can forget sleep.

Then there is the group who run up and down the hall laughing and screaming playing tag on the way home at 11pm or so.

The courtesy officer does respond. He is the one good thing there. But as soon as he is gone they will bang on walls and shoult abuse and obsanities at you.

I literally have to peek arround the corner to see if it is safe to go to my door and let myself in for fear of running into this unruley group.

The constant smell in teh grounds of dog crap is terrible! The managers have dogs so I guess they dont see a problem.

The management are nice people. But they don't get it. I was told twice they would do coemthign about the noise from teh people next door.

I can't take it there any more. Unless you really dont care about noice and bugs I would advoice this place like the plague!
