Preston Mill

 

When my husband first moved in we were told after asking that they would order DVD's for the video library as promised in the brochure.

That took 3-4 months with asking many times, each time they said they had forgotten or that they didn't know what to do.

Our #1 reason for picking Preston Mills was for the security gate entry.

It has been broken 90% of the time we have lived here, and the back gate is always open.

Therefore there have been many a strange people parking across from my apartment in the summertime to "hang out " at the pool and walking around at odd hours of the night.

About 2 weeks after we moved in, a huge black stain appeared in the middle of the living room floor.

After many phone calls and visits to the office we've managed 2 cleanings and they replaced padding under the area.

The stain is back AGAIN! and has been back for a while.

I guess the office doesn't plan to try anything else.

there are more smaller stains throughout the apartment but we can just forget about those.

The neighbor below us lets her dog deficate on the the porch and sweeps it off to the ground around her porch and its perfectly visible from my balcony and walking by.

It also smells.

We were told we have to get a picture of the neighbor in action, even though they can see that it's obviously no one else.

The dryer vents on the side of our building are full of lint, its completely blocked and sticking out.

A fireman said to contact the fire marshall.

That that is very dangerous.

You can hear everything in the breezeways outside of the master bedrooms.

Sometimes you'll think that someone is fixing to charge into your place.

A neighbor let his 2 dogs(boxers) jump up on my husbands new truck and it caused many criss-cross scratches down the side.

When my husband approached the man about it, he got cussed out and called names.

Now the man stares at us all the time and actually has had the nerve to try to walk his dogs by our truck again.

You know what the office staff said about it' Sorry, we can't do anything about that.

We had a friend and neighbor tell us just the other day that the manager said that "they don't like us and that all we do is complain and that she didn't want to move into the apartment above us b/c we would be knocking on her door bitching all the time and that she doesn't have time for that".

First of all, it wouldn't do any good.

Second of all we are not Nuts! We just want this place to hold up their end of the bargain.

We pay alot of Rent and we pay it on time.

Our name still isn't in the list of residents at the gate for our friends and family to get in if by some chance the gate WAS shut.

We've asked several times.

We shouldn't be made to feel bad because we want what we were told we were paying for.
