The previous comments submitted about the dog defecation, boxers jumping on vehicles, management not standing by their promises are all very true. Management has changed four times in one year. The present property manager is pregnant(looks and acts pregnant), lazy, with zero personality. The entry way is made out of deck flooring, which is very loud when walking in and out. People let their dogs defecate anywhere, including on the patios/decks. It is disgusting. The smell is horrific. The rent is high, but most of the people living in our building have five to six people in a two bedroom! Yes, the dryer vents are stuffed with lint, your clothes take forever to dry. When I asked about cleaning them out, I was told someone would get to it by the end of the week...that was in December! We have lived here for nine months and our name is still not on the list so our family and guests can call to get in when the gates are locked. Most of the time, the gates are wide open, not operable from being broken by bratty latch key kids swinging on them. This place is one notch above trailer park trash. We moved here from out of state and really did not have time to look and research. Wish I had seen this website before we moved in. Parking is a nightmare.There are twenty four apartments in one building with only nineteen parking spaces. So...if every apartment has two vehicles, which most do, where can we park' On the curb! One apartment has four cars and the occupants look like valet parking attendants when someone leaves trying to jockey for a closer parking space. Poor planning.People are not considerate about keeping music down and partying after 11:00 pm. If you are over 25, have a 40 hour week job,and have current license tags on your vehicle.....please do not consider Preston Mill. You will not be happy here. We're just trying to hang on until our lease expires. Our carpet was stained everywhere with tiny red dots when we moved in. The carpet has been cleaned twice and the stains are permanent. We will probably be blamed for the stains when we move out, since management has changed so much. Any problem, concern, question to the resident office is either ignored or "I don't know" with a go away, you're bothering me ending.
