I'm sure after I write this review someone from the office staff will do another five star rating just to keep the percentages up on this website. Anyway......most of the negative comments are true, especially about the noise, parking, and dog poo everywhere! To be blunt, you can not open your windows on a cool breezy day because of the smell of dog poo and dog urine. The property just isn't big enough to accommadate so many animals and people living in such a small space. The pool is really nasty. There is no way I would even put my foot in the water. The staff is very friendly and helpful until after you move in and then their attitude/customer service skills change dramatically. If you are a college student, like to party all night, then Preston Mill is the place for you.

Like one of the reviewers suggested, drive through on a weekend night, after 10:00 p.m. The apartments in the back look like low income housing.

I live in the "back" of the property, and it does not resemble low income housing. There are several apartments occupied by members of the same family in the area who sometimes get a little loud/annoying, but that is all. Nothing like the loudness when I lived at Lakeside!

If you have never lived any place better, like many of the residents here, then the back area looks like luxury living with all the rebels flags flying on the decks, toys stored on decks, white sheets hanging in windows for window treatments, dirty diapers outside front doors, pick up trucks so high that you need a ladder to get in, I could go on....check it out on a Friday or Saturday afternoon. Drive by at night, as a previous poster suggested.
