Wow... it's not a good Wow, be sure of that!
That is the worst apt complex i ever been to!
but in a way it's my fault to suffer, because I've heard bad reviews before I've moved in, but when i came to see the apt the complex, it looked nice and the stuff seemed extra friendly, so i assumed it was only few angry and unsatisfied renters who wrote the negative reviews (it's impossible to please everyone, i thought)
"Since I'm Not hard to Please, it would work fine"- thinking that was a BIG mistake.
i don't know where to begin...
i was happy about it looking nice and being cheap, until i found out why and that i still won't get what i pay for.
Before moving in, i let them know that i want to see the actual apartment i will live in, and that seem to be no problem. So i came back the same day to pay all the fees and deposit and sing the contract.
and that where it turns around...
after becoming the tenant all the "nice and friendly" dissapears

they couldn't give me the apartment i saw and the one i actually paid for and since they couldn't refund all the money i've paid and i haven't had any extra to be looking at another apt at the time i've decided not to be trowing money around and agree for the next apartment they had.
the carpet wasn't new or even clean, the appliances in the kitchen were older and much more worn off, the counters in the kitchen and bathroom looked used stained and scratched and the first tie i used AC it wasn't working!
it took them almost a month to pay any attention to my calls and later complains about fixing it, and when maintenance employee came to look at it he had stated that it was the most irresponsible community he worked at and the don't' care about their people.
and from there on, the problems just kept paling up and staff not wanting to do anything about it.
i keep my house very, very clean and wake up at night just to kill the roaches that come out at night (i'm guessing from neighbors)because i don't want them to multiply, having a baby it's not pleasant.
i wan't asking them for any special treatment but if there was a problem or something wasn't working, i HAD to bother them asking to fix it and it was a big headache and they treated me as annoying, always had something to complain about tenant and i felt uncomfortable to be someone's pain in the ass.
But all i wanted is to get what i pay for, and if things just break off or electricity, air conditioner, water isn't working, i'm sorry to bother but i have to take a shower/ cook for my kid/ have livable temperature in the house...
it isn't worth it.
I'm counting days till my contract's over.
unless you always wanted a roach pet (in this case you'll get a whole zoo :) find a different place (there's so many options!) for your sake
