Ok, so I am very upset with Berkshires at Medlock Bridge Management. I moved here because it was newly renovated and one of the nicer apartments in the area. I really tried to get over how rude the sales team, and unprofessional the managers were here just because I liked the place. Now, I should have known better. I had a better experience from the lower income neighborhoods!!
I think that maintenance does a wonderful job with getting things done in a timely manner. However, I have asked management repeatedly that no one come to my apartment unless there is a scheduled time. With the recent break ins, I don't want anyone going into my "home". They have not once contacted me to schedule an appointment or asked me what time would work best for me when I schedule a maintenance visit, and they are still going into my home, overruling my expressed concerns and requests not to.
There is so much I want to say about this community and the sales / management team, but I am actually afraid to say anything because I don't want anything to happen to me, or my apartment. Yes, as you can tell, I am scared to live here. I used to live in another apartment complex near this one, and I was never once scared. I sometimes feel like management feels like they are on top of the world and nothing can harm them. I was hoping there were another way that I could help to make a difference in this community, and to the people that live here so that they could have a liason between tenants and management. Goodness, I have so much longer to live here... I always hear big dogs barking, people yelling, and again, I would love to give more examples but I fear management will know who I am and they are my biggest fear!
Just remember, there are lawyers out there that can aid in your concerns to get you out of an apartment lease if they have violated any part of the contract, no matter what the contract states. Even though you signed a document for arbitration, you always obtain the right to defend yourself in a court of law.
Yes - I am educated, but even educated people can make lousy decisions, and the Berkshires is definately one of them.
