Every month, I place rent and utility payments in the drop box, and the checks have always posted to my account in a timely manner. However, when I placed the required 60 notice to vacate in the box,it was "never received" according to the Property Manager, Myra. Therefore, she would not release my rental history to the complex I was attempting to move into, and begged me to stay by offering to repay the deposit that I placed on the new apartment. I showed her a copy of the notice that I placed in the drop box, which was dated in September. This was still not good enough. I informed her that I wanted to make a complaint to the Property Management company (Pinnacle), but she refused to give me the telephone number or a contact person?s name.(it can easily be obtained via the internet) I know that the complex got my notice, and feel they are trying to delay my move in order to keep a good paying tenant around.
