I moved here in Aug 08 after a friend of mine who lived here for 5 yrs said it was a great place to live. Things were great at first. Two weeks later Trinity (the new company that owns it) took over and it went to hell. First they started doing a lot of remodeling around the complex. One of these changes included taking down the retention walls around the parking areas that were made from large pieces of wood to cinder blocks. I had seen them doing work around the area but was NEVER notified to move my car to accommodate the construction. One day I find these large pieces of wood behind my back tires that I had to move myself to move my car. Not only that but it looked as though their workers had taken handfuls of dirt and thrown them at my car (there are no kids around)! I immediately contacted the front office and was called back and told that they had spoken with the contractor and they were going to give me a gift card to compensate me for the inconvenience. After many calls to the front office I could some how never get a call back from the them nor did I ever see a gift card. Their contractors have blocked me in before and just kind of look at you when you are trying to leave. When they are doing remodeling they leave nails all over the place. I've gotten a flat tire and so has a guest of mine and of course the front office takes no responsibility. About two weeks after I moved in I was notified they would be removing my sky lights, a big "highlight" when they were talking me into leasing! I come home from work the day they took them out and find nails, shingles, wood, dust, all kinds of crap all over the place! Then my garbage disposal breaks. Took several calls to have them come and fix it. Two weeks later, it breaks again. I call, no one comes. They are constantly turning the water off and when it comes back on there is air in the pipes so water goes every where. And this happens to the appliances too, ice makers, washers, etc. One time it broke my toilet! It was 2:30pm when it happened and I had to cancel a dinner I had planned because they had already left for the day and their answering service could not reach them! My fire extinguisher was empty and I didn't even discover that until I was in the apt 8 months! The blinds in my sun room broke 5 months ago and they have still yet to be replaced! There was a leak in my sink that has caused the cabinet floor to sink horribly. Took 8 months to get the leak fixed, and when I asked about the cabinet the maintenance guy looked at me and said "Oh don't worry, we won't hold you responsible." I was more interested in if they were going to fix it, guess I got my answer! I let them know, in writing, 6 months after living here that I would not be renewing my lease. About a month ago (two months til the end of my lease) they leave me a note about how I need to contact them about renewing my lease and all these deals they wanted to offer me. If I wanted to stay in my apt (not yet upgraded to their 'new' look) my rent wouldn't change and I would get a free carpet cleaning (interesting how all the new apts get new carpet). I wrote them a scathing letter telling me that I had already informed them that I would not be renewing my lease but in case they thought I had changed my mind, I would NOT be renewing my lease. Left them a long list of things that I had called about and had never been fixed. I have two animals that have to be locked up when they enter, which is probably a good thing since they never shut the door when they come in! They would tell me to make sure my animals were put up but would never tell me when they would be coming! I'd have to lock my animals up for days because I had to go to work! So I told them that I would not be locking my animals up again unless they contacted me 24 hrs in advance to let me know they were coming and since this was what they were legally required to do, it shouldn't be a problem. After that letter I got a call from the property manager who wanted to offer me a free month's worth of rent, I never called her back. Then, a couple of days later, I get a call from a maintenance guy telling me he was unable to fulfill my maintenance request because my animals where not put up. I contacted the front office again and told them that again, they had not contacted me 24 hrs in advance. I told them that I knew my rights as a tenant and I didn't want to have to notify the proper authorities. I got a call from the front office again, some woman who was very pleasant and apologetic and came up with a lot of excuses. This is when they finally came out and fixed all the things in my apt, except for the blinds.

Join the crowd! Try living here 10 years and getting used to exacty what you are talking about. Trinity ruined this property. I am also moving out due to the lack of concern for the residents by management. Residents are now only income and a lease number...no longer a name or a face. Management truly does not care about anything other than getting a lease signed. I might also add the water bills are very inconsistent on a monthly basis. Just another income scam for trinity.

My credit was ruined because they never forward me the water bill and and show that i owed three months when it was only the last month. I got notice for 3rd party collections who posted to my credit report. The new management is horrible. They still owe me $45.00 for two gate cards and the laundy card.

i do agree with the original poster. The new company isn't getting the job done.
