I actually liked this complex alot the first three years I was here -- it used to be quiet and had a friendly staff. The last couple of years haven't been as pleasant. There has been an influx of families with noisy teenagers, and it seems like the tenants as a whole have gotten noisier and ruder as time has gone on. The workout room is only open during office hours due to vandalism, and police cars seen on the premises have gone from a rare occurence to something I see every few weeks or so (not a common sight, but definitely no longer a rarity either). Most irksome, personal complaint: I was just served a dispossessory summons and late fee notice because the leasing office mistakenly wrote the wrong apartment number down when assessing late rents. I had paid my rent on time and had the canceled check as proof, yet they treated me rudely, as if I was the one who had made the mistake. Then they gave me a weak apology -- the verbal equivalent of shrugging their shoulders. I've been nothing but a model tenant for the last few years, never missing rent once, but of course they don't take that into account. I said as much and they looked as if I had uttered something in a foreign language. It just shows that the quality of tenants has decreased significantly that the office managers have resorted to such draconian measures within the last year or so. This is probably not the worst apartment complex in Norcross by any means, but lately there's been too much bad outweighing the good. If I had the means to break my lease I would. Not recommended.
