I've read all these reviews and can agree with both sides. I moved here almost a year ago, and I have to say that things were pretty crappy when I moved in and continued that way for a while. I know we now have new management and even though things are moving slowly I do see improvements.I really like that new manager and the new leasing people in the office. I had a bad leak in my apt. and they were there right away and got it fixed. That's a hell of a lot better than the way it used to be.My lease has a few more months, and I'm going to see what they can do in that time before I decide if I'm moving or not.

Wipe the fog off of your rose colored glasses ! There are still abandoned , trashed out units hidden in the back of some buildings which are a haven for vagrants . It's just a matter of time before some junkie sets the whole building on fire when he drops his crack pipe !
Glad they fixed the leak . Get used to it . You'll either see a lot more or you'll wake up one day and not have any water . While you're at it , ask them about all the electrical faults and if they intend to fix them before they start a fire .
What improvements ? Painted curbs ? Stop signs ? How about fixing the locks on the mailboxes so our mail doesn't get stolen ? Why aren't there any handicapped parking spots for my wife ? ( A violation of Federal Law ? )
I'll believe it when I see some real improvement instead of window dressing !

you will six "yeses" below this rating. i want you all to know that i can prove beyond a shadow of doubt that all of those "yeses" were created and entered into this reveiw page by 4 seasons management to try and make it look like this is some sort of great place to live. the reality folks is that it is anything but that;. and i swear this to be true! in just the last two years alone, the maintenance team has rolled over six times, the office management team 5 times, and the complex is now under its 4th owner. that ought to tell you the truth about this ghetto.
as i now understand it, the Julian LeCraw Co. just bought this complex. i wonder if they have any idea what a hole they've dug themselves into with this one? it will be most interesting to see what they can do to clean-up this slum-level community and restore it to the great place to live it once was! i wonder if they know that it will cost millions to fix plumbing, electrical, and structural problems that have plagued this community for years; while on the other hand the need is greater than ever to hire sufficient and willing law enforcement personnel to clean-up the apartment break-ins, wanton damage to apartment strucutrues, gang wars, vandalizm and habitual car thefts, etc? i wonder if those they bought this property from (the bank who repossessed this slum from Ventron, Inc.) were up front, honest, and ethical about the breadth and depth of the drug problems on this property and how solidly entrenched the Mexican Maffia is here - problems the last management group did nothing about? i wonder if the Julian LaCraw Co. understands the scope of internal apartment repairs that are mounting up because of the ineptness and the "i don't care attitude" of the complex manager, her crew, and the lazy, "do no work" maintenance manager?
while it is way too early for anyone to critique Julian LaCraw's future efforts here, they certainly have started off on the wrong foot, when it comes to the apartment complex in terms of who they have retained to manage and maintain this property. this is a crew of the most lying, two-faced, lazy, personnel who certainly have no business being employed by an organization with this repute. i believe the manager even claims to be an ordained minister? that is almost too much to believe given that i and so many others living here can prove where she has repeatedly lied to tenants and just pain ignored "life or death" emergency situations. on-the-other-hand, the maintenance manager does nothing more than sit in that nice, compfy, air-conditioned office and answers the telephone; and then stands over the maintenance crew with a bullwhip while paying them slave wages.
i'll sum up here by simply saying to the Julian LeCraw Co., "the first step you need to take is to hire on a caring manager and a hand's-on maintenance supervisor. secondly, you can make immense changes to the betterment of this community by addressing the real issues rather than masking and lying about them as the the present management team does so well."
respectfully,
one who knows the truth

As I read all that has been said about this property, I take into consideration that I to live here. yes it might not be the perfect property for many who look to live a more secluded life...but I have never had an issue with the office, maintenance of the management. I guess it all boils down to how is your mood when you are wanting something and you feel you are being ignored because your emergency is your toilet paper holder fell...vs the Leak of an A/C unit that might ruin the bottom floor ceiling. I think this community is underated by many because the only good thing they have to say is that they have been in this property for X amout of years. Times have changed and Julian Lecraw is making it happen..give it a chance you too will agree that is not all that is put out there to be.

I see some improvement but not a lot of it though. I used to live there and that place in a wasteland to me because all the crime there and people selling drugs left and right. I am happy that I left that place because no one does not want to live in a place with kids with dealers and hookers are at all the time.

I have been living here since April 2009. I had read these reviews and a lot of others before I moved. Basically I came here every other day and every night for about 2 weeks to see for myself. Walked around behind the buildings and all with my boyfriend. I didn't notice any gutted apartments occupied by drug addicts. There are a lot of people walking around, that is because is a gas station up the road, a quik mart, and some people don't havecars, so they walk. It is a 24 hour store, so people are going there at 2 or 3 in the morning if they want a snack or cigarettes or something. I'm sure there may be drug dealing going on up the street or something, but we are ok here. Drugs are everywhere. Even in upper class communities. It's not like you walk around the complex and you see needles and weed bags on the ground. There have been 2 break ins since I moved and a car bombed... that was just some lady though that was dealing with issues in her life, it had nothing to do with the complex. I think someone had a vendetta for her? There has been a huge ant problem. They had the water shut off a few times without notice because they were fixing the pipes. Some things are falling apart here and there in the apartment. Look, the apartments are old. For the style, size, and location you cannot beat the cost to live here. All apartments have problems. And yes, people get mad when they don't get their way. But this a huge complex and the BIG issues come first. They do have new management and things are getting better. The manager Jose is really good at helping and getting things done. Very professional. The others are decent. This is not a bad neighborhood. Not the best, but if you can only afford so much, you make sacrifices. Certainly kids are not in danger here. It's not like someone is going to go outside and be proposed to buy drugs or get shot for no reason. There are many kids here, including mine, and I would not have my kids living somewhere where there safety was at risk. I give the property a 7 on a scale of 1 to 10.
