So horrible, it burned down!

Living here was simply the worst apartment dwelling experience I have ever had. One time my doorknob broke on the front door and it took them over a week to bring a new one. Have you ever tried to open and close a door with no knob' It's almost impossible, and surely a fire hazard. Speaking of fires, I constantly complained that my hot water heater was leaking water. This heavy hot water heater was supported by a few 2x4s that were slowly rotting as a result of the water dripping on them. Maintenance never fixed it, and it frightened me to think what would happen when it finally came crashing down (this is a natural gas apartment). I'm not sure if that's what happened, but an entire building at High Pointe did burn down a few months ago. The news said the entire building was engulfed in flames in less than 5 minutes. If you don't believe me, just drive by. The wonderful management at High Pointe seems to have decided to simply put a chain link fence around the old foundation, so you can still clearly see where this building used to be. Yes, living here can actually kill you! Just don't do it, it's completely unsafe.
This neighborhood is also going downhill. In the time that I lived there, the nearby Wachovia branch and Circuit City shut down. The only new businesses to come in were a 24 hour laundromat and a Church's Fried Chicken. You've heard of an up and coming neighborhood' This one is down and going. Don't waste your time, the cheap prices are not worth your life.
Oh, I almost forgot. My roomate's car got broken into in the parking lot, and Domino's won't even deliver pizza there anymore claiming it's too dangerous for their drivers.
