I have been living here since December of 2005. I am myself a Maintenance supervisor at another property nearby. Being in the maintenance field and working at several apartment house communities in the North Atlanta Region. I would say overall that this place is not that terrible a place to live. I have seen a lot worse. I'd say that the biggest problem is the residents, at times you will find them to be very nasty and unclean, they trash the apartments and through garbage all over the place, yet they are the first to complain. Go figure!! I mean seriously some of these people have no home training, they need to live in a jungle or someplace similar. When I say people, I am speaking in general, because nasty people come in all different sizes, shapes, and colors.
In my experience there are some unfortunate situations when a decent person has a bad experience through no fault of there own. Sometimes the previous residents tear the apartment up so badly, It's nearly impossible to restore it to acceptable living condition. But we do our best, and the apartments must be rented, for the most part this is a for profit business and the more money that a property has to put back into itself, the more money that is lost, sure it would be nice if apartment communities would perform regular remodeling and upgrades, but that costs money, money that is generally used to aquire other properties and investments, unfortunately thats the way it is.
So don't blame the apartment management. Blame the savage residents that have ravaged these apartments for years. I'd say that overall with the age of this property considered (If I'm not mistaken, it was constructed in or about 1983)It's not that terrible, there are some that are better and some that are worse. I'm considering moving to Norcross, because the better jobs in my field are all on the North side of town. I would consider living here because of the cheap rent and the location, but I will keep this review in mind.
