I have lived at this community going on 1 year now. During my time here they changed management companies, managers and the staff. This place use to be an amazing community with wonderful residents and a friendly team in the office; this is completely OPPOSITE of what is here now. Unfortunatly, the current management of this community has lowered their qualification standards and have been letting criminals and "unqualified" occupants in this community just to increase their occupancy number. On numerous occasions the police have been called out regarding disturbances, fights, break-ins and domestic issues. Ivey Brook has went from nice semi-luxary community to the GHETTO...VERY QUICKLY! I grew up in the area and lived in Norcross while attending college at GA State; I thought that this community would be more respectable and they use to have a wonderful reputation....unfortunatly, this has all gone out of the window.

The maintenance team is AWFUL, the manager oversees 2 apartment communities so the leasing office is ALWAYS closed and they never answer the phone. It is rediculous. Several residents, including myself pay a lot of month to live at this community and we are truely treated like trash. They NEVER have any resident functions, it takes weeks for maintenance to repair broken items and the management team could care less if you are happy here or not.

Please, before you waste your time and money moving here read all of these different comments. I guarantee, no matter what petty excuse they give you in the leasing office about how much they have changed or addressed issues they have not!! They give everyone the same lecture. Remember, their #1 PRIORITY is to INCREASE OCCUPANCY AND REVENUE....so, they are going to be NICE as hell to you to get you to lease and once you sign that contract you better bet that you will not exist because once you have committed then they know that you are here until your contract ends (unless you pay the rediculous fees to terminate the agreement).

Bottom line, these comments on this site about this community are here for a reason; we are resident that are complaining about an issue because this is the only way for us to warn prospective residents about this community. This place really does need a great deal of work and a new management team that truely cares about the community and its residents!
