Worst apartment maintenance and treatment ever

When we moved in last year, the maintenance was really good.
The apt rooms are spacious.but not insulated properly..so it gets abonormally hot during summer..BUT! now the maintenance has deteriorated beyond limits.
Some of the maintenance requests have taken 6-7 months...and still waiting.
The leasing office now says that they will do the maintenance only if I renew my leasing agreements.
We are very angry as we still live in their apt and now since they know that we will be moving out, they are not entertaining any of our requests and not bothering to call back...no after hour emergency requests are entertained...its become the worst place to stay.
Please dont waste your money here.

I moved in in November and gave them a list of problems including non functioning electrical outlets and a kitchen cabinet door litterally falling off, nothing has been touched. When the refridgerator motor kicks in, the drain dims the lights in the entire apartment.
I have had several promises to have it looked at yet but that the best they can muster just empty promises.
