i have lived at oakwood fr 2005-2007 of spring.i"ve lived there during the first period when the property was owned by one setof manager then someone came and bought it over.the facility is ok and the environment is goood for kids and clean.They are are a set of cruel people thou cause they didnt give me one cent back of my deposit. They told me that if i clean the apt fr top to bottom i would get every dollar back.also i return all there keys for the house,gate and mail box.after waiting days and not getting my check in the mail i called them and they told me i wouldnt get any money back since the carpet had been woren out.U EXPECTED TO GET A NEW CARPET THE WAY I MOVED IN THERE'LOOK HOW LONG I LIVED IN it'and whether or not u didnt need all of my 500 dollars and change.these people are digusting and this happened to a fren of mine who lived there once as well.the management and staff that work there are a set of thiefs.i would recommend it if u dont want your deposit back.

they also tried that crap with me, kept the deposit and even charged me a few hundred extra for some bs regarding the carpet. they even set me to collections, however once i threatened to take them to court the fake charges vanished off my credit and everything...I didnt get the deposit but just being out of the hell hole was enough.

im sorry you lost $500, I made a post below before on my situation. I lost $500.00 dollars to them claiming they was a carpet stain in the bedroom, so the entire carpet of the apt needed to be change. costing me my $500.00 deposit. Truthfully that apt complex is cool but this little scam that they perform for your deposit is not cool. if you have pictures, get quotes from different people in the carpet industry, and then take them to small claims court to get your money back. i did not have any pictures to sue their behind
