While not perfect, I feel like Park Trace has been a pretty positive experience. The apartments are somewhat old and the floorplans aren't perfect, but they are great for this area. I have had a bit of trouble with my appliances, but the maintenance has always been very quick to respond. Occasionally I've had to call them back again, but again, they've been very prompt. It is very quiet - I never hear my neighbors. There are a lot of trees around, so it seems more secluded and helps keep the heat down in the summer. They have recently done a lot of renovations, including painting and fixing everything. I haven't used the pool or the fitness room very often, but I've always had a pleasant experience when I have done so. The office staff is friendly and helpful, especially Cheri - and she always remembers your name. The grounds are kept nice and are routinely maintenanced. There was a period of few months ago where the gate was broken for several weeks, but it was fixed when the new owners took over. My only complaints have been the small kitchen (standard for a smaller apartment) and the lack of a dining room (in the 1 bedroom apartment). My other complaint is that there are no sidewalks or streetlights on the road outside the complex, and people insist on walking in the road. I often round the bend to find someone right in front of me, and I have to go into the other lane to avoid hitting them. Of course, this is a public road and not Park Trace's problem, but a good thing to consider if you will be walking a lot!
