It is with pleasure and pride I'd like to share my PARK TRACE experience with you. Home is where the heart is and for 9 WONDERFUL YEARS PARK TRACE has been my "home" and my "heart". Having moved to Georgia from Chicago in July of 2000, I visited almost every Apartment Community in the Norcross area looking for a place to call home. Of all the communities I visited, I kept coming back to Park Trace. The beautifull well manicured landscape, the tall towering trees and peaceful "park-like" atmosphere drew me like a magnet. The cascading waterfall inside the pool, along side of the Resort like deck and common areas swept me off my feet. The sunken fenced in tennis court with a viewing stand looked spirited! The peace & serenity drew me like none other and
9 YEARS LATER...I am still PROUD to call PARK TRACE "HOME"!
As for "amenities"...we have a very clean, accommodating & adequate secured fitness facility - a well lit mailbox area...a waste & garbage disposal area that is well maintained and NOT an "eyesore" like I've seen in other communities. The pool & deck area has beautifully furnished comfortable patio furniture - BBQ Grills are located through out the property...it would be nice if we could grill on our balcony's but of course that is a necessary fire safety restriction. The indoor amenities are energy efficient and just as accommodating such as; washer & dryer hook ups...dishwashers...central heat & air. When common everyday issues arise i.e. a garbage disposal jam or a light bulb replacement, the Maintenance Staff is "Johnny on the spot"! They're exceptional, trustworthy and efficient! I call my request in and within 24 hours the mission is accomplished! The Management Staff is fantastic! They re warm hearted professionals who not only know their industry, but also this community. They re never too busy to lend an ear or a hand and they work very hard to provide a place where everyone feels like they belong and are family! In fact - that's who we are and how we live at Park Trace...as one BIG Family!

Coming from Chicago you must not have very high standards. if you think Park Trace is nice I would hate to see the place you lived in before.

The reviews on this site that I had read so far were either too good to be true or were so unbelievably negative. They just don't add up. What is the best way to find out whether an apartment community is suitable for you? I am posting this very same message on different apartment pages with the hope that there is at least one unbiased tenant out there for each of these apartments who can provide accurate information.

Dear 'Looking4aptdp',
I'm a firm believer in word of mouth advertising. The simple fact that I have lived here for 9 years speaks for itself! I'm here because I WANT to be. I am not being held HOSTAGE!:) As for the "negative" reviews, there are always two sides to every story!Perhaps as "nasty" & "negative" as the reviews are, so were the "lifestyles" & "living habits" of the tennants who wrote them! I would guess those negative responses could be from former "irate" tennants who left the Property on NOT such good terms. Maybe didn't pay their rent or didn't pay it on time and were asked to leave...left their apt nasty or damaged and didn't get their deposit back...disorderly...distructive, disobediant to the property rules outlined in the Lease Agreement... uncontrollable children...pet problems..the list could go on!!! I personally don't have anything to "prove" or anything to "gain" or any reason to "mislead" anyone....Again - I'm not a "hostage" nor is there a "randsome" being paid for my "kind" remarks. Home is WHAT you make it & WHERE you make it. I've made it "here" and I am STILL 1 Happy "Park Trace" Camper! Come join me...let's be Neighbors...see for yourself...draw your own conclusions! Tell them "One Happy Camper" referred you! :)

My advice for anyone looking for an apartment is just to get out there and search. All apartments complexes will have the good and bad. It's just your job to research every aspect. I mean you already know what your budget and location in which eliminates quite a number a choices. Call the apts first to get their most current prices and have a list of questions thats you'll ask each one to see if they know their stuff and if they truly want you as a tenant. and lastly, try to view the apartment as late as possible (when people are home) too see what the neighbors are like. When my ex and I decided on an apt, we hung around and walked around the neighborhood and when we saw all the kids coming from the buses and they were all running around unsupervised!! That is all we needed to see... So just do you research and be thorough and remember that if your looking for a cheap place to live then the people living there just might be "bottom of the barrel".

Dear Looking4aptdp when reading the neagtive reviews please don't assume they are negative simply because the tenannt did something wrong. There are several examples or issues with this complex where perfect tenants had bad experiences because they were provided misinformation by the management and in order to cover up the mistake management held the tenant accountable. Some of these tenants could have livd at this complex for years and due to this one oversight by managment made them see the overall experience as a negative. As the previous review stated, due your own research, see for yourself and if you choose to stay make sure you have everything in writing to cover yourself.
