I moved into the Ridge in July 2007 signed a 6 months lease THANK GOD. For the first 3 months I have had raw sewage backed up into both bathrooms, tub toilet and water heater. I have called maintence and it would sit there for days before any one would come and fix, I have 2 small children, and you could imagine the smell in the summer. I did not want to break my lease and I was unemployed for a few weeks so I did have the $$ to move. Then in November my heat went out and $ different maintence men come out , YES 4 every one of them said the previous person quit, I wonder why. Anways each one told me something different has to why it was broken and each promised to come out and fix. Imagine 2 kids no heat 13degrees, I did not pay the rent because of there neglegence and was taken to court and still had to pay them and they didn't fix the heat. 2 months w/o heat. I did not want to break my lease and pay all the penalties but in the end I still had to pay.

That is a health code violation, call the health department and childrens services on yourself and tell them the situation. then you will have proof if you go back to court

I just toured the apartments, are they really that bad? I thought they were cute and very clean. I dont want to move in if this is still an issue?
