I had a constant water drip from my upstairs neighbor to my kitchen ceiling. I called and called and called for it to be looked at. Finally the ceiling started to sag. I cut out the small section of ceiling so that it would not fall on anybody and it was covered in mold. I cut out a bigger section of the affected area and it was covered in mold. I was able to see into the ceiling and all the wood was covered in mold. I notfied the management of the problem in February. It is now June... almost July, and we still have mold and a whole in our ceiling. RUN!!! These people care nothing about the well-being of their residents, and these apartments shouuld be closed down!!! If I could afford to break my lease I would. At this point I'm looking into legal action to get me to a safer place. This place might be cheap, but it's still not worth it!

I live at the Ridge too. Sorry to hear you are having trouble. The maintenance staff do seem to be kind of...dumb? Good luck on your case.

Good luck trying to get help from the government on this. I had mold in my apartment too and the former assistant manager (right before the current one) tried to tell me that it was dirt. I was having headaches and nausea from the odors and mold spores in my apartment. I kept complaining (verbally and in email and in letters) on a weekly basis, finally, they took care of it!!

You should send any pictures and/or correspondence to Nancy Freeman nfreeman@riverstoneres.com. She is the main lady that will crack down on the staff and the regional manager if you haven't contacted her already. If that doesn't help go to riverstoneres.com and you can email and call the vp's of the company or pay through the court systems until they fix the problem. Trust me they need their money.

I live at the Ridge too and I am running out of there. I had the same complaints regarding mold due to leakage from the unit above me. I called, emailed and wrote the office. After a few visits to the office and yelling, I finally got someone to spray the unit but still have water marks everywhere. My lease is up in January, and I can't wait to get out. Good riddance, I tell everyone I know to run, run, run away from the Ridge at Crescent Cove
