When i first went to the leasing office looking for a 1 bedroom apt.

here, they showed me a gorgeous newly remodled 2 bedroom and asured me that was the apt i was getting.

I then signed a 1 yr lease with that specific apt # typed on the lease..Well wouldnt you know it! The day of move in i was directed to a DIFFERNET apt and the apt # on the lease was crossed out and a new apt # was written in! oh but wait..thats just the beginning! Looking at this OTHER apt..it was nothing like the original one I signed the lease for..there were no ceiling fans in the bedrooms, the kitchen was old and filthy! The refridgerator was barely hangin on to life! They told me i had to pay $50 extra a month if I wanted the kitchen remodled! ha! I was suppose to have that anyway! I was already paying $799 for this peice of crap! Needless to say, about 6 months into the lease a female police officer moved in downstairs from me and called her buddies on the force EVERY WEEK to knock on my door and tell me " keep it down..your talking too loud...stop playing your music!"(that was going to far) etc...EVERY WEEK for 2 months they came and harrassed me...when i notified the office she moved out THAT month! When it was time for me to renew my lease (after the pest was gone) THEY REFUSED TO RENEW MY LEASE BECAUSE OF CONSTANT COMPLAINTS! I was living there a whole year with no probs till "the pest" moved in below and SHE ONLY STAYED 2 MONTHS! This is a very bad decision to move here..the apts are small overpriced and very biased! STAY AWAY FROM STONE BROOK!
