Ive been here for 6-7 months.

I wish I had read these reviews before I made that step.

When I first saw the apartment I was sold.

Space is great they had new carpet, I liked how everything was setup.

First day in our home I noticed there was a slight roach problem.

I went out and bought some spray and cleaned everything like I normaly would in a new apartment and kept it moving.

By the 3rd- 4th day I called the rental office and they sent the exterminator out that Wednesday.

He has been out there maybe 2 times a month to spray since ive been here.

Roaches were everywhere.

When I contacted the rental office they acted like this was new to them until I started to talk to my neighbors.

The whole building was infested! If you walk out of your front door the roaches greet you because they travel through the hallways and any other place they can find.

The 2 families that I did speak to in the building have moved or are about to move, they had to wait till there lease was up because Wesley Park wouldnt let them out of it, nor will they let me out either.

Eventually after bitching and complaining they said they would transfer me.

GREAT! Well the apartment that was coming available they decided not to move.

Im stuck again! I have bought every kind of spray known to man and had gotten them under control a bit but they were still there.

The only thing is they stopped coming into to ours cause they knew we were going to get them.

But no not the neighbors, what do they care about the roaches when they open the door its 20 folks lying on the floor sleep, they have trash everywhere, no wonder they aint care about calling the rental office about the roaches.

No wonder we never had a parking space.

No wonder you have to go 20 miles to find a can of roach spray cause they are all sold out.

Well now we are 6-7 months into the lease and out of the blue a notice come to the door and said the exterminator is going to spray the whole building.

So people are complaining now about the roaches, yes cause all of the old people have gotten evicted and you have new people and they notice the roaches.

But what happens when they spray the whole building, the roaches go anywhere they can so our problem which was partially under control just got worse overnite and I woke up with 2 roaches crawling in my bed this morning.

Once again they say hey its an apartment coming available in this other building go check it out.

Well me being me goes to check it out and knocks on a few doors to ask some questions and what do you think they said.

THEY HAVE ROACHES TOO! WTF! Im trying to do right by my kids, Gwinnett is great for the schooling, I couldve stayed in the hood payed less rent and not have had to deal with any roaches.

Okay thats enough about the roaches.

All the negative reviews that these people have said are true.

The trash compactor OMG.

If you have 20 folks staying in one apartment how much trash do you actually think will fit in there.

Every Monday or Tuesday the trash man comes and empties it.

But it is filled right back up the same day with the bags that the maintenance have to pick up around the bin becuase it is full and no one else can put trash in there so they just throw it down the walkway to the bin.

And it gets to where you cant even walk down the aisle to put your trash in there even if you wanted to.

It stinks and it attracts alot of bugs.
Parking is ridiculous! like I said if you have 20 people living in 1 apartment and they all have cars where are you going to park.

They be all on the curb! Its a law that you cant bring commercial vehicle in certain areas.

Not at Wesley! You can park a dump truck there if you wanted.
Staff whom I thought were friendly but of course that was at the time that I was signing the lease to the roach motel.

Now they are nothing but habitual liars.

Its business right! You have to do what it takes, they got rent to pay too.

I understand that to some point but dont just think that you will pull the covers over my head like you did the first time by transferring me into another roach motel and signing a new 1 year lease.

Oh I forgot to mention that part.
The outside property of my building, walkway and all.

Well my neighbors had a party/ wedding and they had bags of trash that sat in the hall for 2 days and when they were moved they apparently burst open and left all kinds of gook going down the steps.

I cant even count how many times I have walked out and found food in the hallway or just trash.

They clean there cars in front of the building and drop the the trash right there in the space where they are parked.

And oh yes they do mechanic work in front of the building too.
Police and the fire department are over here alot.

I never know whats exactly going on until its in my building.

The kids pull the fire alarm someone has gotten robbed or someone has gotten evicted and they are out there trying to save there belongings from being taken but other people dont care and they are trying to fight because this persons wants the plasma TV that you got sitting out.

SO they do what, jump on you and take what they want.

Let me tell you about maintenance.

I dont see how they get any work done when they are sitting up at the pool conversating with the young ladies, doing nothing! The pool doesnt stay clean.

The exercise room is just what they said it was.

FILTHY AND DISGUISTING.

I am the community manager, I do admit there was a problem with roaches at one time, but this problem has been correct, there is a new pest control company here at wesley park who have made a difference, we do offer free pest control every thursday, the team here at wesley park value our residents and strive to give excellent customer service.
