NOISY, NO SLEEP!

This community is located directly across the street from rail road tracks. The train is up and down the tracks all night long, blowing the whistle. There was a newspaper article in the local paper about how the train conductor sits on the whistle as the train rolls through this part of Peachtree City. There are real estate companies in the city with much better rental leases on homes, less expensive than the rent at Amli, which is ridiculous. I just wish I had read these reviews before renting here. The swimming pool is filled with small children on a daily basis, many go in the pool in diapers only. Older children play all day at the pool, so there is no quiet time around the pool, unless you go at night or very early in the morning. The staff is not friendly. We never knew the managers name, even when I went in regarding a package pick up, the manager never introduced herself to me, I had to extend my hand first, then she said her first name only. We decided to rent a home here until we can return to our home in CT. I am here for a temporary job relocation, will be returning to CT next year. It was worth spending the extra money for deposit to get a nice large home for the same price we paid at Amli. Live and learn, as the saying goes!

Anonymous post above must be employed by Amli. Very obvious someone from the office is tracking this site, writing positive reviews after not so positive posts were made. Hey, how about getting off the internet and checking your email with maintenance requests - since you prefer maintenance requests in writing, take the time to read the requesta and follow through. By the way, Christi.....the train is loud and you know it, but you do not sleep here at night, so......and the comments about all the kids is very true, what is wrong with a resident stating the truth? I know, I know....$$$$$$$.

AMLI is crap - trust me! Go somewhere else to live. They will mess up your credit when you move out.
I know from bad experience with them. The maintenance man always wanted to come to check out my apt. and nothing was broken - I am a single female and he is a pervert and potential ------.

The maintenance guy is weird, rides around in his truck goofing off when he is not hiding out in the maintenance building. I don't know why someone has not caught on to him. Guess he is well liked by management. I had to tell him off a few times when he wanted to come in my apartment without notice. I also had to buy a door alarm. Finally, I am moving out, my lease is up. Do not rent here, this place is full of creeps and perverts roaming around at night.

Actually, I am not Christy. Just a resident of Kedron Village (as it is now being called due to the new management change around 6/28/08.) I did admit to the train noise, but didn't you sign the addendum regarding the train? I honestly would state it if I were displeased about the service here at Kedron Village. At this point, my only concern is with EMC regarding my electric bill. And trying to minimize usage doesn't work becaused everything is run by electricity. Keeping the control at 75 degrees doesn't work either. So, other than that issue which is clearly with EMC, I don't have any problems with Kedron Village.
