Miserable living at AMLI

Ive lived at AMLI a few months now and I have come to the conclusion that this place is a dump literally. Rubbish is strewn throughout the apartment complex, not suprisingly as the dumpster is frequently full, in actual fact overflowing is more the word and so there is nowhere to put your rubbish especially as it is not usually emptied for days at an end especially around the weekend when it reaches its fullest. The community pool is also a right mess, it has not been cleaned and leaves are all strewn across the water and a nasty smell is in the air. The lights in that particular area are also not working and the water is not being heated as is promised during the latter months of the year, I dont mind that so much but with it being so dirty even people like myself who dont mind the cold cant even use it because it is so filthy. Its very inconsiderate of AMLI and there staff who are a bunch of really arkward people to have to deal with. In actual fact I dread having to go to the complex office to talk with one of them. They dont care about the residents and the complex, the last few times I have been in the offices, I have seen and heard the one lady whom works there talking about her upcoming wedding and making arrangements on the phone etc, maybee instead of doing things like this she could do her job instead. Because none of the staff are doing what they should be at the moment which is there job and to be doing it in a way in which they can make the complex an enjoyable home to live at. By the way while Im talking about the office, I have to add that the business center is a disgrace, residents are charged for a fax ! We are also supervised if we want to use the computor and have an AMLI staff member standing over you while you are on the computor which is very off putting and really quite annoying hence needless to say which I dont use anymore. The management is also quite a joke, recently I asked to speak to someone at head office with regard to some complaints which I had and left a message on a voicemail, days passed and I never heard a response back, eventually I had someone from the AMLI Office at the Complex here telephone me to discuss my concerns ! Now if I had wanted to deal with the Staff at the on site Office then I would have telephoned them or walked on down and spoke to someone there but I wanted to speak with someone higher up. I dont quite understand what part of that is misunderstood '! The office here also now has eratic opening times, some days the office is closed all day and other times the hours have changed, in actual fact my last remark is sarcastic because in actual fact what happens is that instead of closing at the time that they should they instead choose to close up anywhere from twenty minutes to an hour hour some days depending on if they feel like going home arly or not I guess. Really this place isnt a great place to live and when my contract is up fro renewal shortly, I can promise you I will be moving elsewhere, in actual fact I know of somewhere equal in facilitys and which is two hundred dollars a week cheaper, thats another big minus, the ennormous rent which is charged a month. By the way while I think of it AMLI have a monopoly on the Cable, Water and Electric. I couldnt believe it either but they do and so they can charge whatever they please and you have to pay it or esle you will be without those utilitys. Maintenence is also another big minus with AMLI, the 48 hr guarentee is just a joke and isnt honored whatsoever and when the head maintenece man whom actually seems to be the only maintence person now working here does come out he is very very unfreindly to have to deal with. In actual fact he rarely seems to do any work, with the exception of sitting in his truck and spending long periods of time at the dumpster, he must have a very hard job eh '! Overall dissapointing place to live. Will be moving out when I can in the near future.
