I had a year, a long year at the Camden Peachtree City apartments. It was a little noisy and unsafe if you left something in your car but upon signing that we were leaving when our lease was up, the real problems began. First of all, the staff messed up with what we were supposed to pay in our last pro-rated month. We paid what the online system said to pay believing that if we owed anything else, we would pay it in a few short weeks upon our exit. We were shocked to find, just 2 days before we were to move, an eviction notice for non payment of rent! We went over to the office and asked for more information, they refused to give it including what the final bill was for exactly when it was supposed to be pro-rated! When told that if they could we prove that we still owe something we would liquidate it immediately, a ------- at the front office said " we don"t have to show you anything and you had just better pay everything including late fees, a $250 warrant and court costs etc etc." Trying to be reasonable and showing that we cannot possibly know exactly what we owe if we didn't receive anything in writing or via the online system, ------- again said that we have a contract and we had to pay. Asking to show where the contract said the amount of our last pro-rated payment which we still dont know s they are saying it is different than what their computer system shows, she then said (LIE) that she sent out a notice of our late balance on the 4th. When asked to prove that this was done, or that we received it, or that maybe they had called us or e-mailed us, anything at all......., she said she didnt have to prove anything! I told her that I would show up in court to defend myself if she would continue to be so negligent and unyielding, she then raised her voice and says, "now that you (me) said ""legal"" she cannot help me anymore"! I asked her how I brought legal into it when she sent out a warrant for eviction without proof that I was late or showing any willingness at all to resolve the issue.

I know someone people will be lucky and only have mild problems but believe me, these people in the front office, led by the asst manager -------, are dishonest, arrogant and are unwilling to assist even when they have blatantly made a mistake.
They will lie to cover their tracks and force you to pay alot of extra money.
I am now seeing them in court, because I prefer to waste time and money rather than see them continue to treat people this way.

DONT RENT HERE, IT IS NOT WORTH IT and they will try and take you money dishonestly as my recent experience has shown.
