I moved into Gables Court in 2008 and I just love the place. I read some of the reviews and was surprised, but on the other end, this Lawanda is not with Gables Court any longer, they have new management along with new maintenance men. I did look at other apartments in Peachtree City, yes some of them where newer in the outside and inside, BUT you are going to pay a hefty price for them. Gables Court has very good pricing, yes there units are a little older than some, but they are very roomy apartments. I have a 2 bedroom apartment, the thing I like best about it is the sun room, it is enclosed with windows and screens. The other apartments did not have any windows, but only screens or open balcony's. By haveing this sunroom with windows and screens I could put my futone in the room and if I have extra guests I can fold out the futone and have a double bed. Christine and Jutta the office personel are just GREAT, they are very polite and proffesional and are willing to help you with all your needs, they always greet you with a smile. The two maintenance men Jeff and Raymond are great also, always speaking to you and getting the job done, the have a lot of apartments to oversee, But they get to your problem as quick as they can. I did look at the other reviews, most of them are very old reviews, and the ones that are not, well you can not please everyone, some people complain all the time, you can never satisfy them. And like the one review stated look at the reviews on some of the other apartment complex's. The golf cart path is right there at Gables Court, Gables Court is close to all your needs, using your golf cart, going to restaraunts, shopping, ect, some of the other apartments are not as close to these places. Gables Court has a great mix of people Seniors, young family's and proffesional people, everyone is very friendly. I sit outside every morning with my cup of coffee and you can hear all the birds just singing away, very peaceful place. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone...
