Terrible Management

I don't live in the Apartments yet. I'm moving there purely out of location. I found a job paying 10,000/yr more and have to leave Alpharetta. Crazy enough I will be paying more. The apartments seem okay and I grew up in the area so I'm comfortable. My only complaint is the people in the office. All are at least one of the following: rude, nonchalant, slow, (as a black man, I hate to use it) ghetto, and down right unprofessional. I came in on my lunch break my first time visiting and saw the model. I told them the final decision is based on what my g/f thinks and I would be back at 5:30 to let her see the place. At 5:30 we return together and they tell me that they don't show apartments at this time. Furthermore, I have excellent credit and they requested every document they could think of before even running my credit. I know apartments get burnt, but not by people with perfect credit. They actually told me I needed employement verification and I called my job from the office. My job gave a number for the outsourced HR dept. The office rep snapped at me and stated " no we can't use that ". When I asked why, she stated, after much avoidance of the question, that they have to pay to get my information when they have to call a number. They never called the number to know this, but turned me around and requested I get two pay check stubs in addition to the ones I had already provided. After numerous phone calls and delay per their staff was either on vacation or with another customer, I'm finally approved. It took over a week and a half, once I had jumped through all there hoops and given them all the documents they requested, to simply get the word. Not to mention the back and forth of rejecting documents and information. Now, it's been a week and I can't get how much it will cost me to move in on the 25th of the month. I can only assume, no one has the security codes to the top secret file under my name, except for the new lady in the office that is handling my application. Unfortunately, I predict more problems. That's not my main concern. I'm only staying here because it's less than two miles from the job and I'm saving for a house. Like many others have stated. . . Stay away per the Managment staff is horrible.
